Are you up for a little challenge??

Hey guys! I have something new that I wanna try here on the blog. Studio Calico just recently did a challenge where they gave two sources of inspiration. You had to interpret that inspiration however you pleased in a layout.

I loved the idea sooo much! This is going to be something that we will start on the blog here. I am going to give you two sources of inspiration and an example of how I interpreted them. You then have to create a layout (any size) using the inspiration. E-mail me a photo of your layout, your name, and your phone number. There will be an outside party that will judge all of the entries based on creativity and interpretation of the inspiration. The winner will receive $10 in store credit to Inspire! Sounds good, huh!

You have until next Sunday, October 10th to e-mail me your photos of your layouts! (inspirescrapboutique@gmail.com) Remember, you can interpret the inspiration in any way you like. You can use the color, the layout, the words, the design, whatever you want! Be creative! Only one entry per person, please!

Here is your inspiration!

This precious print from Etsy. I have one in the store and I love it!

This cute little coin purse, also from Etsy!

Okay, here's my interpretation!

So, from the print, I pulled some of the words and the layout of the words. I love how eveything is centered on the print and I rarely scrap like that so it was fun to do. From the coin purse, I used the color as one of the mist colors. I also tried to layer fabric at the top kind of how the coin purse is layered. I ended up covering most of it...oh well!

(Journaling: You are trying to keep me calm in our crazy life. 2 weeks ago we opened a business, 8 weeks from now is our wedding, and tomorrow we bid on a house.)

Well, I hope you enjoy this little challenge. Remember, send your e-mail by next Sunday, October 10th! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Ash
