It is all moving very quickly and I am just holding on and enjoying the ride. Anyways, here are three products that I have ordered that you will just looooooove.

Number 1:

New Chipboard from Sassafras. I love me some Sassafras as you all know.

Number 2:

This is some lovely paper from Pink Paislee. This is the line from Pink Paislee and House of 3. The whole line is soooo great!

Number 3:

These are some new rubons from Hambly. I love lace and anything that resembles it.

Well, I hope this little peek is getting you as excited as it is getting me! Talk to you soon!

Answers!

Hey guys! Well, it has been one hot and i mean smokin HOT summer day. I treated myself to a cup of ice cream today while Hayden got a blizzard.

He came for a sleepover tonite to spend some quality time with me. LuLu has mono so she was unable to join us. :( While he was playing with legos this afternoon i was...u guessed it...placing more orders.

I have also been getting lots of e-mails from some of you with a few questions about the store. I am going to try and give you some answers.

Number 1: The store is opening somewhere during the beginning of Setptember. I am waiting to see shipping dates and the status of the "Grand Opening" guest teacher before making any final plans. Of course, I want to make sure that I am going to have a good bit of product before opening. I don't want you to come to an empty store.

It is also hard to determine how much inventory will be ready upon opening because CHA ship dates vary. Some things are ready to ship now and some things are not shipping out until September/October.

Number 2: The store will most likely be open a few days or even a couple of weeks before the actual "Grand Opening" event.

Number 3: There will be classes offered at the store. For the month of September, I am planning to have a Scrapbook 101 class and at least one (if not two) other classes. Scrapbook 101 will be for ladies who have never scrapped before or ladies who are unsure about the scrapping world and want to be exposed to all of the new products and techniques out there.

The other class or classes will be projects.

These three classes will be taught in addition to the ones that will take place during the "Grand Opening" event.

Number 4: There will be crops offered at the store. I am not commiting to a certain number of crops per month. There will ALWAYS be at least one crop a month. There is a possibility that there may be 3-4 crops per month. Crops will just depend on the schedule and activities of the store.

Number 5: The calendar for the month of September will be ready during mid August. This calendar will inform you of classes, crops, the "Grand Opening" event, make and takes, and any other special happenings at the store.

I will post the calendar to the blog. I also hope to be able to send the calendar via e-mail to anyone in the Scrapalicious computer system.

**Within the next couple of months, I hope to develop different activities and promotions that you will be able to look out for in the store. Please bear with me, as opening a store is a huge undertaking that is very time consuming.

My goal is to make you guys feel inspired! I hope to be able to offer classes and activities that get your creative juices flowing. I want to be able to see you all in the store as often as possible. I am trying to put forth my best effort into developing the "Grand Opening" event, as well as, the store's classes, crops, and activities. You will be the first to know when everything is scheduled and planned.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to e-mail me. Also, if there are any new products out there that you just have to have your hands on, please, please, e-mail me and let me know what they are. I can use all the help that I can get for ordering. You guys have probably seen product that I have overlooked.

As always thanks for your continued love and support. I have received so many well wishes and kind words. It really means A LOT!

Stay cool peeps! Talk to you soon!

3 Things!

Well, look what I ordered today!

These are some great journaling cards from the new Studio Calico's Elementary line. These are not shipping right away but I pre-ordered them.

This is some chipboard from Crate Paper's Restoration line. It is so vintage and so adorable.

Ummm. I do not need to say anything about these! But, I will! These are to die for. They are from GCD studios! I love this line!

So, I ordered some more great product today. I was a little bummed because I had filled up my Prima cart yesterday and was waiting to place my order today so that I could go back and make sure I ordered everything that I wanted. Well, I just went into my Prima cart and guess what!! It is empty. Great! Lovely! Man, that's a bummer! Guess I have to fill it back up.

Okay blog world, I will quit rambling and get busy. I am excited for tomorrow because I am meeting with Heather, a sales rep, and she reps Tim Holtz. That means I get to order all of the new Tim Holtz goodies. Yay!

Okay guys! Nitey Nite!

Masks! Yay!

Well Happy Tuesday to everyone! I am spending today just like I have spent the last few weeks, on the computer, ordering and registering and doing all of this business stuff. I love that I can lay on the couch and watch TV "while working." What a job! Anyways, I just finished my Prima order and I was so excited because they released some masks this season. Now, I love masks, but, Tim Holtz has not released many new ones lately. For this reason, I was SO pumped when I saw the Prima masks. Here is a pic of one of the styles that I ordered.

I ordered two other styles plus this one. They ship in mid August. So, get your paint, ink, and mists out ready for these masks.

In other news, we signed the lease this morning for the building,so, we will be in on August 1st to begin getting the place ready. I'm so excited.

By the way, I keep saying we and some people are asking if I am in business with anyone else. I am not in business with anyone else, I just say "we" referring to Shane and I because he is right here by my side. :)

Also, lots of you have e-mailed asking to see some engagement pics. If you check out my personal blog (www.ashmarie23.blogspot.com), you can see some of them. There are tons more that I will post when I get a chance.

Hope you have a great rest of the day!

3 new Projects!

Hey guys! Since my body is still running on Vegas time from my bachelorette party, I have been staying up all night trying to create. I have definately lacked inspiration lately, but last night was an exception. After looking at the genius, Tim Holtz' blog, I suddenly felt creative. I stayed up till 6am and finished these four projects...enjoy!

So, the first project is a layout of me and my LuLu. For the background, I laid my Tim Holtz letter and number masks in a line straight across the page. I painted and misted over them.

For this project, I stuck twigs from Creative Imaginations into two vintage spools of thread. I then tied some vintage lace across them. I tied the letters onto the lace. I used Tim Holtz safety pins to attach the photo and I embellished the whole thing just a tad.

Here is a canvas that I did. I cut up some Sassafras paper for most of the background. I covered those layers in gel medium. To get the butterfly to show, I covered a grunge butterfly in the book paper. Then, I inked over it using my ink blending tool.

This is just a layout on an old Heidi Swapp clock transparency. I've been having it for so long and I was just ready to do something with it.

Well, I hope that inspired some of you. I know how much I love looking at other peoples' work. I'm at Books a Million and I am going to make some more orders before heading home. Have a great Monday night! :)

The Store's First Post

Hi guys! It's me, Ash! I just wanted to post to let you all know some details about the store. The store is in its beginning stages and I am so thrilled to get things together and open our doors. I have plans to open somewhere around September 1st. The store will be located at 142 Laura Drive Suite D. Laura Drive is here in Thibodaux right on the side of the Capital One Drive Thru. The street is right off of Hwy 308 after the Rouses Epicurean. It is super easy to find and with the iphones that I know you all have just type it into Maps :). I will definately be posting some before and after pictures of the store so that you all know what's going on. I am loving looking at all of this inventory. All I can tell you is that there should be someone regulating what is being ordered. I can't even contain myself. I am excited because the summer CHA releases are really cute! I have a grand opening event in the works right now and I am hoping to be able to get a great teacher. (Keep your fingers...and your toes for that matter...crossed!) I am getting everyone's contact info from the Scrapalicious computer system so I will be sending updates for all you to stay informed. Please feel free to check the blog and e-mail the store with any other questions you guys might have. I promise as soon as things are definately planned, you will be the first to know. Here's the store's e-mail...inspirescrapboutique@gmail.com. Thanks for all of your support!

Much love...Ash
