Some New Stuff!

Hey guys! I am so excited to tell you that the new paints and ink pads from Jenni Bowlin are here!

These paints and ink pads are FABulous. There are tons of great colors. The colors are bright and lots of primary ones. It is so hard to find paints and inks in basic primary colors! You will love them!

We also received another shipment of stamps from Technique Tuesday!

These are just a few of the great stamps that we received. There are lots of other sets.
So, come by the store and check out the new stuff!

Happy Friday!

Victory Dance!

Well, I think that a victory dance is in order. On Monday, we signed our first set of papers on a house. We still have to get really approved for the loan, we've only been pre-approved. We still have to have the house inspected and all of that other mess. However, the process has begun and we might be getting the keys to our new precious little house within the next few weeks. Feels great! I know the craziness is about to be multiplied times a million but I made it this far and I'm not about to throw in the towel this close to the finish line!

Here are some shots of us doing our little victory dance after we got the house! By the way, Shane will kill me when he sees that I put this photo on the store's blog. Just had to share the good news!

Sorry I missed 10 things yesterday. I was very sick, still am, and I couldn't even get outta bed to open the store. Thank God for Taylor! I am hoping to feel better soon because there are a few things that need to be done around here!

Happy Thursday to you all!

iheart mini albums

Well, it is no secret that I love love love mini albums. I was actually able to work on a mini album in the last couple of weeks and I finished it. That is definately a rarity that I finish a mini album. This mini album is called Junk in my Punk and it is from this new little company called Punky Sprouts. We are currently sold out of Junk in my Punk. However, we have tons of other albums from that great company. Here's a look at my newly complete mini!

There you have it! I did this one about silly little facts about myself. I love doing mini albums because you can cram all kinds of junk in them and do them on cute little topics. Come in and get a mini album so that you can have fun too!

By the Way: we are heading over to possibly make final negotiations on a house tonite! Any prayers would be greatly appreciated!

As always, much love!

Doing a Little Re-stocking!

Hey ya'll! Today at Inspire, we did a little re-stocking. We got in lots of Lumiere Paint! We re-stocked the colors that we had run out of and got a few new ones too!

I know that lots of you were bummed not to have the colors that you wanted, but they are back and you can come in and get em!

We also re-stocked glossy accents, Tim Holtz scissors and edge distresser. We got some more Jenni Bolin stuff that we had run out of too! We also re-stocked the book plates from the Teresa Collins Blingage line.

We pretty much got in just a few random things here and there that needed to be back in the store! Also, this week, I expect a few things from the Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology line that we have had and yet to have, Technique Tuesday stamps, and hopefully some Glitz!!!! I will be letting you know when any of that comes in!

Don't forget to call or e-mail to sign up for the all day crop Saturday and Michelle's class which I should be back with pictures of tonite!

Talk to you bloggers soon!

Are you up for a little challenge??

Hey guys! I have something new that I wanna try here on the blog. Studio Calico just recently did a challenge where they gave two sources of inspiration. You had to interpret that inspiration however you pleased in a layout.

I loved the idea sooo much! This is going to be something that we will start on the blog here. I am going to give you two sources of inspiration and an example of how I interpreted them. You then have to create a layout (any size) using the inspiration. E-mail me a photo of your layout, your name, and your phone number. There will be an outside party that will judge all of the entries based on creativity and interpretation of the inspiration. The winner will receive $10 in store credit to Inspire! Sounds good, huh!

You have until next Sunday, October 10th to e-mail me your photos of your layouts! (inspirescrapboutique@gmail.com) Remember, you can interpret the inspiration in any way you like. You can use the color, the layout, the words, the design, whatever you want! Be creative! Only one entry per person, please!

Here is your inspiration!

This precious print from Etsy. I have one in the store and I love it!

This cute little coin purse, also from Etsy!

Okay, here's my interpretation!

So, from the print, I pulled some of the words and the layout of the words. I love how eveything is centered on the print and I rarely scrap like that so it was fun to do. From the coin purse, I used the color as one of the mist colors. I also tried to layer fabric at the top kind of how the coin purse is layered. I ended up covering most of it...oh well!

(Journaling: You are trying to keep me calm in our crazy life. 2 weeks ago we opened a business, 8 weeks from now is our wedding, and tomorrow we bid on a house.)

Well, I hope you enjoy this little challenge. Remember, send your e-mail by next Sunday, October 10th! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
