Shane and I have made the decision to change our business hours. After reviewing the sales from the start of our business, we have decided that this is the best decision for the business. As always, we do not want to inconvience any of our customers. We hope that you will be comfortable with the new schedule. We also hope to continue to be able to do business with you!

Saturday: 10:00am-3:00pm
Closed: Sunday and Monday

Prepare Yourself for our Tacky Christmas Event!
Hello peeps! I am excited to give you a heads up about our Tacky Christmas Event! I am excited about this event for a few reasons. Reason 1: The wedding will be OVER and I will get to put all my energy and attention into this glorious business. Reason 2: It involves Christmas! Reason 3: There will be great things happening here!
Okay so when is this little event you ask! The Tacky Christmas Event will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 17-19! Oh yes, three days of scrapbooking and Christmas goodness. We will have cropping from Friday 11am-2am Saturday, Saturday 10am-2am Sunday, and Sunday 10am-6pm. Cropping will be free if you sign up for the whole weekend. If not, it will be $10 a day!
We will have an ornament exchange on Saturday @ 3. This is open to the first 12 people who sign up. We already have 6 people on our list. So, hurry! The way the ornament exchange works is everyone makes 12 ornaments any way that you like and you give each person an ornament that you created. In return, you will receive an ornament from each person. So, you leave with 12 unique and hand-crafted ornaments. Let me just tell you, I did this at Scrapalicious last year and I loooooooooove all of the ornaments that I went home with. I put them all on my tree and even hung a couple on doors in my apartment!
We will also be having 2 bomb diggity classes that weekend. I will be teaching a class on Friday @ 7. In my class, you will get to use those pictures with Santa that I know you all have. I definately have them and I'm screaming my head off in all of them. On Saturday, Vera will be teaching a class that I know you all will love. You will be learning how to make 12 different little projects that you can easily re-create to use for your Christmas needs. You will be learning how to make things from tags and cards to cute little decor items. Her class will take place @ 5 on Saturday.
Throughout the entire event, you should definately come in your tackiest Christmas attire, of course. That's where the tacky comes in. Each day, the tackiest person gets a nice little goodie bag. Also, there will be lots of giveaways, challenges, snacks, and drinks. The store may even have a little touch of tacky too!
I really hope lots of you can join us for this event! I will be back later with details about classes and prices and all of that goodness. I just wanted to let you know about it so that, if you know for sure that you want to take part, you can sign up now!!
This would be a great way for you to take some time for yourself before the holiday. It would also be a great time to work on handmade gifts/cards or past Christmas layouts! I can't wait for this event and I hope you feel the same.

New Stuff!!
Hey ya'll! Well, I have returned from Houston and it was a blast. If you know me at all, you know that I am very self conscious so you can imagine how uncomfortable taking bridals could be. However, once again, I looooooove my photographer and he made it all so awesome. I just saw the pictures and I could have cried if I would have let myself. He exceeded my expectations times 100 and I am so happy. Now, I have to decide which ones I want.
We got some new stuff in while I was gone. We received some rub-ons and embellishments from Studio Calico. Here's what we got!

These wood veneer embellishments. These are cooler than I expected. They are made of like a really thin wood! So cool!I thought they would just be made to look like wood!

More new goodies!
Look what came in today! We got some great Tim Holtz stamps from Stampers Anonymous. I hope to be getting the Christmas ones shortly. We also got the Schoolhouse line from October Afternoon. They are famous for shipping months after they are supposed to, but, hey, it's here, right?!

November Events
So, I guess you are wondering, what is happening in November! Well, here is the calendar and the break down of the classes. Hope you will join us for a crop or a class. As long as you keep signing up for crops and classes, I will keep having them!
Friday, November 5: Crop Night
Come out to the store tomorrow night. Bring all of your scrapping supplies and anything you want to snack on or drink. (We will have some drinks too!) It is $7 to crop till 2am. I will do prize giveaways and maybe even give you some fun challenges. I know you all need a night with some ladies to vent and laugh and get some scrapping done. So, what are you waiting for? Call the store and sign up ASAP!
Saturday, November 13: Holiday Layout Madness @ 6pm
Do you need to scrap some of your photos from Halloween? Do you wanna scrap some photos from last Christmas before this one gets here? Join Vera next Saturday for a Holiday Layout Madness class. You will complete two double page layouts to feature some of your favorite holiday photos. You will get to play with great techniques to add some special touches to your layout. As always, you can customize the titles and layout to meet your needs! In addition, Vera is giving away some goodies at the class, so, you don't want to miss that!
Class Cost: $25
Materials Needed: paper trimmer, scissors, foam paintbrush, liquid adhesive, regular adhesive, ink blending tool, edge distressor, at least four photos (you can bring a few more if you would like)
Note: Vera printed her two Halloween photos on cardstock so that she could crumple them and distress them. You should do the same for your Halloween pics. If you are unable to, you can e-mail them to Vera and she will print them for you! If this is necessary it will be arranged when you sign-up!

If you are ready to create a precious little project to add some holiday cheer to your home or office, then, this is the class for you! Join me on Sunday, November 21 to create this freakin adorable piece of home decor. We will be using Tim Holtz' configuration boxes and lots of his holiday paper. We will also be using lots of great little Christmas pieces! This is a one of a kind piece of holiday decor that would bring a little cheer to your home this Christmas!
Class Cost: $35
Materials Needed: scissors, foam paintbrush, regular paper adhesive, and strong liquid adhesive
Note: Enrollment for this class will be closed on Saturday, November 13th!! This is due to ordering purposes so please sign up ASAP!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas
Sorry it has taken me so long to post our new Christmas products. It was Shane's shower Saturday and I have been running around like a mad woman since last Monday. We got in the new Melissa Frances Home for the Holidays collection last week. Although the stickers are all already sold out, we still have lots more goodies from the collection. I am unable to get some pics of the collection. So sorry. You will have to come in to see it!! It is vintage inspired and oh so precious. You have to come get some.
I plan on ordering more Christmas stuff soon. There is one more collection that I want to order and a few embellishments from Pretty Little Studio and Elle's Studio.
I will be working on the November calendar today and tomorrow. Hopefully it will be posted and sent out soon!
