Hello Mr. Holtz!

Well people. I must say, I am proud of Mr. Tim Holtz. He is usually not the quickest shipping product. However, he's on top of his game this time around. We received about half of our order with him today. The rest is set to ship next week. Here's what came in today:

Yes I know this stuff is like too much. I love it all so. No, it's not your typical scrapbooking embelishments but that's why you gotta love the Holtz. These things are great for projects and even layouts. C'mon people, get outta that box.

So, I know that now, the Tim Holtz fans will swamp the store and I love that! I already hoarded the things that I want. Hehe!

And, in honor of the arrival of these products, I gotta post this again from our dinner date with Mr. Tim HOltz. Lol.

Challenge Update!

Hey you all! Here is what I made with the challenge that I issued a few days ago!




I centered everything just like on the inspiration layout. I also used a few tags too. I used a bit of red and the new butterfly stamp from Jenni Bowlin. Everything on this layout is with new product from the store. You can still e-mail me your creation for the challenge and I will be picking a winner tomorrow. March Happenings

Hey guys. We are taking it a little light in March just because we are attending Scrapfest and it is a huge job. I am also hoping I will be swamped with placing orders when we return. I am hoping we sell a ton of stuff.

Here's a look at the March calendar:


We are packing up the store on March 8th to attend Scrapfest so we will be closed. We will also be closed March 9th-March 12th because we will be at Scrapfest. We will re-open on Tuesday, March 15th.

We are having a Handmade Madness Layout Class on Saturday, March 19th at 6pm. The class cost is $25. Join Vera to learn how to make some really precious flowers, pinwheels, and embellishments. These embellies are all over blogs and scrapbook mags and you can learn how to make them too! Plus, you get to play with lots of new Sassafras products.






You will complete two layouts filled with handmade embellishments. Check out the tab at the top for a class supply list.

On March 25th and 26th we will have a two-day crop. On Friday, March 25th you can crop from 11am-2am Saturday morning. On Saturday, March 26th you can crop from 10am-2am Sunday morning. If you sign up for both days, it's free. If you sign up for one day, the cost is $7.

This is a great way to get out of the house, hang with some great ladies, and surround yourself with inspiration, not to mention, get some scrapping done.

Winner of the Sassafras Contest

A HUGE congratulations goes out to Miss Nicole Landry. She is the winner of some free Sassafras. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement on the Sassafras blog. I am so happy for her. I know how much she wanted to win it.

New Maya Road!

Today, we also received some new embellishments from Maya Road. They don't have all of their new product photos available online so here are just a few of what I have.



We got these in this pink, red, and brown.



We got these bing markers in brown and we also got the cutest little mini spools. They are so tiny. I love them.




These are the two stamp sets that we got. Love Love Love them both.

We also got two new sets of flowers, some precious cameo and portrait chipboard sets, and some cool kraft tags. Come by to get some!

I am working on the March calendar and hope to have it ready sometime this week. All of our crops/classes will be taking place at the end of the month because of Scrapfest.
